Manage templates

Create new templates and manage existing ones

The Manage Template button will list all the already created templates. Once these templates are published it will be listed in the Email Template section while creating a New Schedule.

The New Template button will help you create a new template for the event.

The following details need to be entered/chosen to create a new template:-

  • The name of the template

  • The channel with which you would like to use to send out the reminder or alert (email or SMS) should be chosen

  • The subject and body of the template too should be developed

Finally save this as draft

The new template will now be listed along with the rest of the created templates

Current Tag - The is listed against a template that is currently in use.

System Tag - This denotes that it is a template already provided by Saaslogic by default.

The above features are common to all Reminders in the notification section which includes:- Collection Reminder, Renewal Reminder, Subscription Expired and Trial Expiration Reminder.

The rest of the events are the On Demand notifications that cannot be scheduled since the time of these events cannot be predicted.

These events include:- User Invitation, Payment Reminder, Payment Failed, New Subscription, Payment Success, Change Password, Force Change Password, Forgot Password, Payment Retry Alert.

Since there cannot be any schedules created for these events only their templates can be changed and managed. Here, the different templates can be created by using the Manage Template button.

Here again, as for all notifications, the channel used to send out the notification should be selected. It can be either through email or SMS.

Once a new template has been created, it will get listed along with all the other templates in the Manage Template section. Here, it can be published and the published templates will now be listed in the Change Template section.
