Publishing the coupon

They are now ready-to-be-published

Your coupon now has a proper form and shape. Nothing more to be done. So, just go ahead and publish it.

Click on Publish and now the status of the coupon will be Published. This coupon can now only be viewed. This particular coupon at this stage can now be extended, suspended or withdrawn.

Once the coupon is created and published, it will be available to your customers and they can use it while subscribing to their products and plans.

In saaslogic, coupons are applicable only to gross amount which is exclusive of the taxes.

The different status that the created coupon holds are:-

Draft – Here, few features of the coupon would have been defined and it maybe ready to be published.

Published – This created coupon can be used to avail discount and it can be Viewed, Extended, Suspended or Withdrawn.

Expired – In this case, the validity of the coupon has been completely defined and it has not been renewed. Such a coupon will be in the expired state and cannot be redeemed anymore.

Suspended – Here, the coupon will stop giving discounts from the date specified and it will no longer apply on the subsequent invoices from the date of suspension. This coupon will no longer be active for a temporary period and you can resume it on a later date as deemed necessary.

Withdrawn – Here, the coupon will remain unfunctional from the withdrawal date. This coupon type too will not be applicable in the subsequent invoices. In this case, the coupon will not be available for redemption too.

An Expired or Withdrawn coupon can only be viewed while a Suspended coupon can be Viewed as well as Resumed.

A coupon in the Draft status can either be Published, Edited or Deleted.

Viewed - This means you can merely view the features that you have added to this coupon without deleting or editing it.

Extend - This option merely helps you to extend the validity of your coupons to a later date. Here, you will be only allowed to change your To date of the validity to a later future date or to an earlier date.
