Stripe

Enable Stripe to support numerous payment methods

You need to integrate with a payment gateway in order to securely receive payments from your customers. To pay for the subscription, each customer should have added a payment method. Stripe is one of the leading payment gateways in which saaslogic has partnered so as to integrate and collect payments for your customer's subscriptions. Today, Stripe is considered as one of the most preferred payment gateways for international customers who would like to make transactions in dollars. In saaslogic, Stripe accepts payments only in dollars and it is enabled either through cards or banking method. Thus, once integrated, you can use this payment gateway to collect payments from your customers for subscribing to your products. To get integrated with Stripe, all you need to do is to register with them by following few simple and straightforward steps. Once this is done, Stripe is all yours and collecting your customer’s payments is no longer a bother.

In order to make Stripe accessible for payments, you have to integrate with it. To do this, click on the New Stripe Payment Gateway Integration button.

This will take you to a flyout where you will have to Name your integration and then click on Next.

Now, you will be directed to an external site that will enable you to complete the integration process after you have filled-in all the requested details.

You can complete your registration with Stripe by going into the directed external site. Once this is complete, you will be directed back to saaslogic from where you can complete the integration.

Once the integration process is complete a new tile representing the integration will now appear along with the New Stripe Payment Gateway Integration tile with an Enabled tag. This integration will now be available along with all your products so that you can receive payments from the customer’s subscriptions.

To activate this payment gateway that has been integrated, it has to be linked to the service address of each of your products. However, the merchant can receive the payment for the customers subscription by only using the payment gateway that has been linked to the default address of each of your product.

You can link only one payment gateway against each service address. A product can have only one payment gateway and this will be the one linked to the default address.

Now since Stripe has been integrated, the next step is to add the payment method. You can do this on behalf of the customer. This can be done by clicking on Add in the Payment Method section within the subscription.

This will lead to a flyout that will ask for the particular bank or card details. Once these details are filled-in, we can be assured that the payment method has been added.

Now, the customer can make the payment against the particular subscription by using the Pay Now option against the particular invoice. In case, the merchant has already received the payment from the customer for a particular subscription, he can go ahead and mark the invoice as Mark as Paid.

Now, you need to add details like Payment Date, Payment Mode and Reference Number to complete the Mark As Paid process.

Once this is done, the payment status against that particular invoice will be shown as Received.

It is at this point that the payment against a particular subscription is complete. The process started with integrating the payment gateway (Stripe) and then adding the payment method and finally culminating with actually making the payment against the subscription based on the invoice that was generated.

Pay Now option against the invoice is only available only for the customers and this becomes active only after adding the respective payment method and integrating with the particular payment gateway.
