Let's add a new customer

saaslogic give merchants the permission to onboard their customers all by themselves. Let's understand how it works.

As a Merchant, do you want to onboard your customer? Yes you can. saaslogic allows you to easily onboard your customer as our UI is simple and easy-to-use. So, get set, to onboard your customer with ease and in the process understand all the different details of your customer that you need to add.

Prior to this, let’s understand what the Customers window has in store for us.

This window too has a grid that will lists the following details of the customer:-

  • Customer Name

  • Subscriptions

  • Address

  • Default contact

  • Grid sort option with default sort (Last created)

This window will display all of the merchant’s customers and their subscriptions and these customers can be filtered based on their various statuses. The different available status of the custoemrs are the following:-

All – Here, all the various customers of the merchant will be listed unmindful of their statuses.

Active – These customers are ready for a subscriptions as they now have their complete profile updated along with their address.

Not Ready – These are customers whose address is not ready and hence they are not ready for a subscription.

Inactive – Here, the customer profile is deactivated and hence not ready for subscription.

Recently Added – These are the subscriptions that have been added or created very recently.

To get started with the process of creating a new customer,

Click Customer > +New Customer.

Here, you need to choose the type of customer.

This can be either a business entity or an individual.

Choosing Individual will show up the following flyout.

Choose Business and enter the details in the following flyout:-

In addition to personal details, a business entity will have to give tax details while adding themselves as a new customer.

Click on Save and in this way you can add multiple customers of different types. All your different customers will be finally displayed in the grid in the customer tab.

saaslogic allows your business customer to opt for tax exemption, in case they require it. While opting for Tax Exemption your business customer will need to specify their reason for exemption from the list of reasons given in the Exemption Reason section. Along with this, they should also provide their Exemption Number. In case a customer does not want to opt for Tax Exemption, they can do that too and continue to fill the other fields mentioned.

Items Per Page - This tab gives you the option to decide about how many customers details you would want to get displayed in one screen.

Filter - In case you want to view customers with a certain parameter, you can do that by clicking on the filter icon.

Here, you can filter customer details based on Customer Name, Product, Plan, Customer Status. You can filter using any of the options provided or use a combination of these options. Click on the Filter icon to get your desired result. Thus, this icon will help you to easily view your desired customers.

This way you can add all your customers and manage their profile as well.
