Outlining the discounts applicable to coupons

saaslogic provides two types of discounts on coupons. These are expressed either as a Fixed Amount or as a Percentage on the gross amount. While defining the discounts on these coupons, saaslogic allows you set its frequency and the number of times it should apply in the term of a subscription.

Let's understand in detail how this works

The first step to applying discounts on your coupons is to consider the Currency in which the transaction should be made.

Here, you can specify the Value of your coupon either as a Fixed Amount or as a Percentage.

The maximum discount amount field is only available to percentage type coupons.

The Frequency of the coupon too can be defined here as either Monthly, Quarterly or Yearly or it can be customized to suit the need of the customer. You can also mention the number of times you would want this coupon to appear in the occurrence section.

Minimum Sales Amount - This is the minimum gross amount required to apply the discount. The discount will not be applicable to a gross amount below this minimum sales value.

Maximum Discount Amount - This is the highest discount amount that the customer can avail.

Here, the minimum sales amount must meet the requirements to which the coupon value can be applied.

In case the value of the discount is expressed in terms of amount, the discount value should be mentioned and the minimum sales amount needed for this discount to be active should also be mentioned.

You can define only one coupon value against each payment frequency. However, you can create multiple coupon values for a single coupon which can be defined in terms of amount or percentage. Each coupon value can be applied only against a subscription with the same payment frequency.
