Who should you contact?

Contact person is important for communication purposes.

Now that you added few details of the customer like their name and their various addresses along with their default addresses it is time to add their point of contact too.

The details of each of the contact can be added in the Contacts link found in the Manage drop down of each active customer.

This will take you to a new window were all the existing contacts will be listed and you can also add a new contact using +New Contact button. It will be listed in grid format and will include the Name of the customer, Email ID, Contact Number and Default status.

To add a contact, click on +New Contact and a fly-out asking the several details of the contact will appear.

Fill-in all the details of your customer’s point of contact like first name, last name, email and contact number. You can also opt to set this as your default contact by enabling the Set As Default toggle button.

The first contact automatically becomes the first user and also the default contact of the customer. This contact will have Access to Portal too.

The newly added contacts will not have the Access to Portal functionality. They can be made the user by clciking on the respective icon. This will lead to the following flyout asking permission to make this contact a user.

By confirming with an Yes another flyout with the various admin center access will pop up and you can choose the desired permissions that you would like to give the newly created contact. You can either choose all permissions, or any one or a combination of these permissions.

Now click on the Create User button to complete the user creation process. The newly created contact will now become a user by following this process.

Note:- No two users can have the same email id. In such a case the following validation will pop up.

The default contact will receive all the notifications associated with the subscription, however the other contacts can decide the notifications that is needed using the Manage Notification link.
